01Vision & Mission

What we’re building — and why.

Our Vision

To help shape an electrification future — anchored in North America with selective global engagements — where infrastructure is planned with clarity, delivered through collaboration, and managed for long-term value.

We envision Owners, utilities, technology providers, investors, public agencies, and delivery partners working together to build safe, scalable, resilient, and financially responsible electrification infrastructure across the regions we serve.
Our Mission

To support Owners and partners in planning, governing, and delivering reliable electrification infrastructure through independent guidance, structured collaboration, and lifecycle-focused decision-making.

Transera serves Owners and partners across North America, with selective engagements in international markets where Owner-side discipline can meaningfully advance program outcomes. We help align stakeholders, improve decision-making, and bring greater clarity and predictability to electrification programs.
Safety-first culture. Every recommendation, governance step, and partner selection is guided by high safety standards aligned with applicable Canadian electrical and occupational safety codes. Where Transera coordinates with licensed contractors and field partners, we engage only with those whose safety records and processes match the discipline our clients expect.

Kapil Shah

MBA(C) · PMP · 309A·RSE · ME · C.Tech · DEE

A 20-year veteran of power, capital, and infrastructure delivery — with field-led experience across $100M+ portfolios and 1,500+ EV chargers deployed across 300+ sites in Canada and North America.

Kapil’s career bridges the trades and the boardroom. From hands-on electrical execution and high-voltage transmission programs to senior infrastructure leadership at one of Canada’s largest logistics enterprises, he has led complex, multi-stakeholder electrification programs from utility coordination through commissioning — consistently translating technical complexity into capital-efficient, governance-driven execution.

He founded Transera Group Ltd. to bring that same operating discipline — vendor-neutral, owner-side, capability-aligned — to the wider mid-market: fleets, real-estate portfolios, healthcare campuses, municipalities, indigenous and remote programs, and OEM/CPO partners building the next generation of charging infrastructure.

His credentials span Master Electrician (ESA, Ontario), Red Seal Endorsed Construction & Maintenance Electrician, OACETT Certified Technician (Electrical), and PMP-led program governance — complemented by an MBA in Sustainability & Innovation currently in progress.

03Career Trajectory

Three decades of power, capital, and electrification.

From substations and transmission programs in India’s power-infrastructure boom, through high-voltage equipment supply across North America, to national-scale fleet electrification — a continuous arc of capital-grade infrastructure delivery.

Where it began

Kapil grew up immersed in electrical infrastructure — his father was a General Contractor in Gujarat, India, who delivered high-value electrical contracts for the Gujarat State Secretariat Building, Cancer Hospital, and other prestigious projects, alongside running an electrical goods distribution business across Gujarat. That household became the training ground.
